The Empty Bowls Fundraiser will be April 20, 2018 from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Floris United Methodist Church at 13600 Frying Pan Road in Herndon

Each year since 2008 The Giving Circle of HOPE has welcomed hundreds of guests for a wonderful evening to raise awareness of food insecurity and to raise funds for one of our nonprofit partners, Food for Others. The Giving Circle of HOPE coordinates with donors to provide handcrafted pottery bowls, delicious soups, breads, and desserts along with entertainment, education, and advocacy in a festive atmosphere.

""Our immeasurable love for the recipients of Food for Others and our sincere effort to provide you with an artistic and creative Empty Bowl motivates us to pour our hearts and souls into the efforts of this evening.

~ Deb Joder, Reston Community Center, Ceramics Instructor

The Mission

Empty Bowls is the largest fundraising event hosted by The Giving Circle of HOPE to help fight hunger and food insecurity in our community.

The funds raised through Empty Bowls benefit Food for Others, one of our nonprofit partners. This event educates members of our community about the existence of hunger in our area and what they can do to help, while providing an opportunity for everyone to come together for a good cause.

Thank you to 2017’s donors and sponsors!
